Luxury Chalets (Air-conditioned) AC chalets 9,10,11
Our luxury chalets have the advantage of being air-conditioned for those who want a cooler relief from the Lower Zambezi heat.
Being river facing and in a more secluded corner of our lodge, the luxury chalets offer guests a more private and intimate experience.
Each chalet has a king size bed but they can accommodate an extra 2 single beds at most, if required. Numbers above the mentioned will require an additional room.

- Please note these units have a private camp fire place for guest use that can be set up upon request.
Tented chalets
Kiambi has 8 luxury thatched chalets that are all river-facing, offering guests a pleasant sunrise and sunset view from the comfort of their balconies.
Each chalet includes:
- King size bed/ Twin beds
- Ensuite shower and bath facilities
- Mini bar fridge
- Fans
- Private deck
- Coffee station
- Safe
Two of our tented chalets house a king size bed, while the other five have twin-bed set ups but a conversion to a double can be done upon request.
Please note the tented chalets can fit one extra bed in the room should an extra bed be required. If numbers exceed 3Pax an extra room is required for this option.
Full-board bookings for our luxury thatched chalet includes a complimentary sunset cruise included in a two-night stay at the lodge and a complementary 3-hour canoe excursion included in a 3-night stay.
Cottage one
Our river facing self-catering cottages are perfect for groups and families wanting to spend quality time together. The cottage is secluded from the rest of the camp, giving guests further privacy to enjoy their stay uninterrupted by the happenings in camp.
Our biggest cottage sleeps six individuals and includes the following facilities:
- 6 single beds: beds on the lower floor can be converted to double one request
- Ensuite shower and bath facility
- Private campsite place
- In built Braai facility
- Upright fridge with bottom freezer
- Fans
- Private outside seating area
- Small seating area in the living room area
- Electric stove with oven
- Kettle
- Microwave
- Toaster
- Pots, pans, cutlery and crokery provided for a set-up of 8Pax at the most.

Cottage two
Our second self-catering cottage is perfect for a smaller groups or families, accommodating four people.
In its own private enclosure, this cottage sits further from the rest of the lodge, giving guests more privacy during their stay.
Cottage two comes with the following facilities:
- Ensuite shower and bath facility
- Fenced off in a private area across from the campsite.
- Private campsite place
- In built Braai facility
- Upright fridge with bottom freezer
- Fans
- Private outside seating area
- Small seating area in the living room area
- Gas stove with oven
- Kettle
- Microwave
- Toaster
- Pots, pans, cutlery and crookery provided for a set-up of 8Pax at the most.

- Please note that clients staying in our cottages have access to the safe in the main office should they wish to store any valuables.
Campsite 1-7
For a more rugged experience, Kiambi offers camping in our campsite for guests.
Our campsite has 7 available sites with the following amenities:
- Portable Braai stand
- Camp fire place
- Electrical plug point
- Shower and toilet facility allocated to each campsite
- The campsite has its own swimming pool that caters for the campsite and cottages
- The Campsite has an air-conditioned bar that is opened over long weekend
- Other amenities
- The main lodge has its own swimming pool that caters to In lodge guests
- The main lodge and campsite also each have a communal campfire facility
- Kiambi offers laundry service should clients require
- Starlink internet access for all clients can be accessed at the main lodge bar
